Byzantine Rite

The Byzantine Rite is a family of Christian liturgical traditions that developed in Constantinople. It is used by Eastern Orthodox churches and Byzantine Catholic churches.

Divine Liturgy: The principal Eucharistic service in Byzantine Christian worship. Its central service gives the rite its characteristic structure and Eucharistic focus.
