Cab Calloway

Cab Calloway was an American jazz singer, bandleader, and entertainer whose exuberant scat singing and stage performances made him a leading figure of the Harlem Renaissance.

Dizzy Gillespie: Dizzy Gillespie was an American jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader who helped develop bebop. Gillespie played trumpet in Calloway’s orchestra before becoming a leading bebop musician.
