Cairo Metro

The Cairo Metro is Egypt’s urban rapid-transit railway, serving Cairo and nearby parts of Greater Cairo through underground and elevated lines.

Line 1 (Cairo Metro): The Cairo Metro’s first line, running between Helwan and New El-Marg. This north–south line established the network’s initial rapid-transit corridor.
