Caloocan

Caloocan is a highly urbanized city in Metro Manila, Philippines, divided into northern and southern sections by intervening cities.

Metro Manila: Metro Manila is the Philippines’ National Capital Region, a densely populated metropolis composed of multiple cities and municipalities. Caloocan is one of Metro Manila’s cities, but its northern and southern sections are separated by other local governments.

Cry of Pugad Lawin: The Cry of Pugad Lawin was a 1896 event marking the start of the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonial rule. Accounts place the revolutionary break in what is now northern Caloocan.
