Canid hybrid

A canid hybrid is an animal produced by crossing members of different species or populations in the dog family, Canidae. Its ancestry can combine distinct wild canid species or wild and domestic populations.

Coywolf: A hybrid canid with ancestry from coyotes and eastern wolves, often also including domestic dog ancestry. It exemplifies extensive interbreeding among wild canids in eastern North America.
