Carl Spaatz

Carl Spaatz was a U.S. Army Air Forces general who commanded American strategic air forces in Europe and the Pacific during World War II.

Henry H. Arnold: Henry H. Arnold led the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II and oversaw its rapid expansion. Arnold selected Spaatz for senior commands and placed him near the center of wartime air strategy.
