HydrodynamicsBroader topic: It can damage propellers and pumps while changing flow forces.
PressureRelated: Low local pressure can vaporize liquid and damage pumps or propellers.
Fluvial erosionBroader topic: In fast flows, bubble collapse can intensify erosion against bedrock.
XylemRelated: A cavitation event can interrupt water transport through xylem.
