Knowra Cévennes Cévennes The Cévennes are a mountain range in southern France forming the southeastern edge of the Massif Central. Their rugged uplands are cut by deep valleys and shaped by Mediterranean and Atlantic influences.

Mont Aigoual : A mountain in the southern Cévennes, known for its exposed summit and meteorological observatory. Its summit marks a prominent high point in the southern range.
