Chalicotherium

Chalicotherium is an extinct genus of large perissodactyl mammals known from Eurasia during the Miocene and Pliocene. Its long forelimbs and clawed fingers gave it an unusual build among hoofed mammals.

Perissodactyla: An order of odd-toed hoofed mammals that includes horses, rhinoceroses, and tapirs. Chalicotherium belongs to this order despite its conspicuous claws.
