Changhua County

Changhua County is a county in western Taiwan, between Taichung and Yunlin. Its government is based in Changhua City.

Changhua City: Changhua City is a city in western Taiwan and the seat of Changhua County government. It serves as the county seat, but is administratively separate from the county.
Lukang: Lukang is a historic coastal town in Changhua County, known for its temples and traditional streets. Its preserved heritage makes the county’s history especially visible.
Changhua Plain: The Changhua Plain is a fertile alluvial plain in western Taiwan, extending across much of Changhua County. Its broad farmland supports the county’s intensive agriculture.
Western Trunk Line: The Western Trunk Line is Taiwan’s principal north–south railway along the island’s western corridor. Its stations connect Changhua County to major cities across western Taiwan.
