Charles Lindbergh

Charles Lindbergh (1902–1974) was an American aviator who made the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight and later became a prominent advocate of U.S. isolationism before World War II.

Spirit of St. Louis: The custom-built aircraft Charles Lindbergh flew on the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight. This single-engine plane carried Lindbergh from New York to Paris in 1927.
