Charlton Heston

Charlton Heston (1923–2008) was an American actor whose commanding screen presence led major historical epics, including The Ten Commandments and Ben-Hur, and the science-fiction film Planet of the Apes.

The Ten Commandments: A 1956 biblical epic directed by Cecil B. DeMille, with Heston as Moses. Heston’s portrayal of Moses became one of his signature screen performances.
Cecil B. DeMille: An American filmmaker known for spectacular biblical and historical films. DeMille directed Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments.
Northwestern University: A private research university in Evanston, Illinois, founded in 1851. Heston studied drama there before beginning his professional acting career.
