Chiba Prefecture
Chiba Prefecture is a prefecture in Japan’s Kantō region, east of Tokyo. Its capital is Chiba City, and its territory includes the Bōsō Peninsula.
Narita International Airport: An international airport in Narita, Chiba Prefecture, serving Greater Tokyo and long-distance flights. It is a major international gateway located within the prefecture.
Chiba City: The capital and largest city of Chiba Prefecture, located on Tokyo Bay. The prefectural government is based in this city.
Kazusa Province: A former province of Japan occupying part of the Bōsō Peninsula in what is now Chiba Prefecture. Its territory became part of the historical foundation for modern Chiba.
Naritasan Shinshōji: A Buddhist temple in Narita, Chiba Prefecture, founded in the tenth century and dedicated to Fudō Myōō. Its long history makes it one of the prefecture’s best-known religious sites.
