Karakoram Highway : A mountain highway connecting northern Pakistan with China’s Xinjiang region. It provides an existing overland link across the corridor’s northern section.
Special economic zone : A designated area offering distinctive rules or incentives to encourage investment and business activity. Planned industrial zones are intended to convert infrastructure links into production and jobs.
