China National Space Administration: The Chinese government agency responsible for civil space cooperation, policy implementation, and international space relations. It coordinates civil space activities and represents China in international space partnerships.
Qian Xuesen: A Chinese aerospace engineer who helped establish China’s missile and space technology programs after returning from the United States. His engineering leadership shaped the program’s early technical foundations.
