Chittagong (city)

Chittagong, officially Chattogram since 2018, is a major port city in southeastern Bangladesh and the country’s principal seaport.

Port of Chittagong: Bangladesh’s principal seaport, located on the Karnaphuli River in Chattogram. The port handles most of Bangladesh’s seaborne trade and anchors the city’s economy.
Chittagong Hill Tracts: A hilly region of southeastern Bangladesh bordering India and Myanmar. The region’s proximity shaped Chattogram’s frontier position and regional connections.
