Chlothar II

A Merovingian king who ruled Neustria from 584 and became sole ruler of the Frankish kingdoms in 613.

Chilperic I: A Merovingian king who ruled Neustria from 561 until his assassination in 584. Chlothar inherited Neustria as Chilperic’s infant son after his father’s murder.
Battle of Tournai (613): The campaign in 613 in which Chlothar’s forces captured Brunhilda and defeated her supporters. The victory enabled Chlothar to reunite the Frankish kingdoms under his rule.
