Ch'oe Ch'iwŏn

Ch'oe Ch'iwŏn was a Korean scholar, poet, and official of the late Silla kingdom. His writings include proposals for government reform and works shaped by his education in Tang China.

Silla: A Korean kingdom that ruled much of the peninsula from 57 BCE to 935 CE. Ch'oe served Silla during its late period, when aristocratic conflict constrained royal government.
