Christopher Hitchens

Christopher Hitchens (1949–2011) was a British-American author, journalist, and critic known for polemical essays, literary criticism, and public advocacy of atheism.

Martin Amis: Martin Amis was an English novelist and essayist, and a longtime friend of Hitchens. Their friendship linked Hitchens to a circle of British writers and intellectuals.
God Is Not Great: God Is Not Great is Hitchens’s 2007 book arguing that religion is harmful and unsupported by evidence. It became his best-known case against organized religion and religious belief.
Iraq War: The Iraq War was the 2003–2011 conflict following the United States-led invasion of Iraq. Hitchens supported the invasion, breaking with many former allies on the left.
