Claustrophobia

Claustrophobia is a specific phobia marked by intense fear or anxiety about enclosed or confined spaces, often accompanied by avoidance or distress in them.

Specific phobia: An anxiety disorder involving persistent, excessive fear of a particular object or situation. Claustrophobia is classified as a specific phobia.
Anxiety: A state of apprehension and heightened alertness in anticipation of possible threat. Anxiety is the broader response that becomes intense and situation-linked in claustrophobia.

Avoidance learning: Learning to escape or prevent an aversive experience by avoiding cues associated with it. Avoiding enclosed spaces can bring short-term relief while preserving the fear.
Agoraphobia: An anxiety disorder involving fear of situations where escape or help may be difficult if panic-like symptoms occur. Its defining concern is escape or help, not enclosure itself.
