Code of Ur-Nammu

The Code of Ur-Nammu is a Sumerian collection of legal provisions associated with Ur-Nammu, king of Ur, and among the earliest surviving law collections.

Ur-Nammu: Ur-Nammu was the founder of the Third Dynasty of Ur and ruled as king of Sumer and Akkad. The collection bears his name and presents law under his royal authority.
