Costume design
Costume design is the creation of clothing and accessories that define characters and support a production’s setting, mood, and visual storytelling.
Costume plot: A document tracking which costumes each performer wears in every scene and performance. It coordinates costume changes and continuity across the production.
Fashion design: The creation of clothing and accessories for wear, often shaped by function, aesthetics, and trends. Costume design draws on garment design but serves a dramatic production.
