Cross River State

Cross River State is a state in southeastern Nigeria, bordering Cameroon and named for the Cross River that flows through it.

Cross River: A major West African river that flows through southeastern Nigeria and gives Cross River State its name. The river supplies the state's name and shapes its western geography.
