Cuban Revolutionary Party

A political organization founded by José Martí in 1892 to unite Cuban independence efforts and organize the war against Spanish rule.

José Martí: A Cuban poet, journalist, and political thinker who organized the struggle for independence from Spain. He founded the party and shaped its program around Cuban independence and republican government.
Cuban War of Independence: The 1895–1898 Cuban insurrection against Spanish rule that ended with Spain’s withdrawal from the island. The party organized the uprising that began this final war for independence.
