Cubic metre per second

The SI unit of volumetric flow rate equal to one cubic metre of fluid passing a point each second. Its symbol is m³/s.

Volumetric flow rate: The volume of fluid passing a surface per unit time. Cubic metres per second are its SI unit.
Discharge (hydrology): The volume of water flowing through a river cross-section per unit time. River discharge is often reported in cubic metres per second.
