Cunedda

Cunedda was a traditionally fifth-century Brittonic ruler credited with leading the Votadini from northern Britain into Wales and founding the kingdom of Gwynedd.

Votadini: The Votadini were a Brittonic people whose territory lay in what is now southeastern Scotland and northeastern England. Tradition identifies them as the people Cunedda led south into Wales.
