Current density

Current density is electric current per unit cross-sectional area, represented as a vector pointing in the direction of conventional current flow. Its magnitude describes how densely charge flows through a surface.

Electric current: Electric current is the rate at which electric charge passes through a surface. Current density distributes this total current across the surface area.
Electric charge: Electric charge is a fundamental property of matter that produces and responds to electromagnetic interactions. Current density describes the spatial flow of this conserved quantity.
