Czechoslovakia

Czechoslovakia was a Central European state formed in 1918 from the Czech lands and Slovakia. It dissolved peacefully in 1992, creating the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye: The 1919 treaty that set peace terms between the Allied powers and Austria after the First World War. It recognized Czechoslovakia and established its borders with Austria.
