Knowra Dandong Dandong Dandong is a prefecture-level city in Liaoning, China, on the Yalu River opposite Sinuiju, North Korea. It is a major Chinese border crossing and the lower river’s largest city.
Sinuiju : Sinuiju is a city in North Korea’s North Pyongan Province, across the Yalu River from Dandong. The two cities face each other across the river and form the principal land crossing between China and North Korea.
Broken Bridge (Yalu River) : The Broken Bridge is the remaining Chinese-side section of a bridge across the Yalu River, destroyed during the Korean War. Its ruins in Dandong preserve a visible trace of the war and the city’s border history.
