David McCullough

David McCullough (1933–2022) was an American historian and author known for narrative biographies and histories, including Truman, John Adams, and The Path Between the Seas.

Truman: David McCullough’s 1992 biography of U.S. president Harry S. Truman, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Biography. This Pulitzer-winning book established McCullough’s account of Truman’s rise from Missouri politics to the presidency.
