Devapala of Bengal

Devapala was a ninth-century Pala emperor whose reign strengthened the dynasty and extended its influence across parts of northern India.

Pala Empire: A Buddhist dynasty that ruled large parts of eastern and northern India from the eighth to the twelfth century. Devapala's authority and expansion belonged to this eastern Indian empire.
