Dice

Dice are small objects with multiple marked faces, rolled or thrown to produce outcomes used in games, decisions, and random experiments.

Die (mathematics): A single polyhedral object used to generate outcomes by rolling. Its faces and geometry define the possible results of an ordinary die.
Platonic solid: A convex polyhedron whose faces are congruent regular polygons and whose vertices are equivalent. The five Platonic solids provide several symmetrical forms for dice.
Dice game: A game in which rolling dice determines actions, scores, or outcomes. Games make dice outcomes part of rules, tactics, and chance.

Role-playing game: A game in which participants portray characters and resolve actions through rules and shared fiction. Polyhedral dice are widely used to resolve uncertain actions in tabletop role-playing.
Senet: An ancient Egyptian board game whose moves were determined by throwing objects. Its playing equipment included casting pieces that functioned like dice.
Playing card: A printed card from a standardized deck used in games, divination, or collecting. Drawing a card samples from a finite set without relying on a rolling shape.
