Discordianism

Discordianism is a satirical religion and philosophical movement centered on Eris, the Greek goddess of discord. It uses humor and paradox to challenge claims to order and certainty.

Eris (mythology): Eris is the ancient Greek goddess associated with strife and discord. Discordianism reimagines this goddess as its central divine figure.
Greg Hill: Greg Hill was an American writer and co-author of Principia Discordia. His collaboration helped establish Discordianism’s founding text and early identity.
Absurdism: Absurdism is a philosophy concerned with the conflict between humanity’s search for meaning and an indifferent universe. Both use humor and contradiction to unsettle confident accounts of meaning.
