Doctors' Plot

The Doctors' Plot was a 1953 Soviet political affair in which authorities accused Kremlin physicians, many of them Jewish, of conspiring to murder Soviet leaders.

Joseph Stalin: The Soviet leader who ruled the USSR from the late 1920s until his death in 1953. His final years saw the arrests and accusations that drove the affair.
