Donna Reed

Donna Reed (1921–1986) was an American actress whose performance in From Here to Eternity won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She later starred as a suburban mother in the television sitcom The Donna Reed Show.

From Here to Eternity: A 1953 American film about soldiers stationed in Hawaii before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Reed won her Academy Award for playing Alma “Lorene” Burke in this film.
