Edgar Rice Burroughs

Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875–1950) was an American author who created Tarzan and John Carter, the hero of his Barsoom novels.

Tarzan: A fictional human raised by apes, created by Edgar Rice Burroughs for a 1912 story. Burroughs's most enduring character began in the stories that established his fame.
