Edurne Pasaban
Edurne Pasaban is a Spanish mountaineer who became the first woman to climb all 14 mountains higher than 8,000 meters. She completed the feat in 2010.
Everest: Everest is the world's highest mountain, at 8,848.86 meters above sea level. Pasaban climbed it in 2001, beginning her sequence of eight-thousander ascents.
Oh Eun-sun: Oh Eun-sun is a South Korean mountaineer whose claim to climb all fourteen eight-thousanders was disputed. Her 2010 completion claim preceded Pasaban's, but the summit of Kangchenjunga was later rejected by some authorities.
