Edward IV

Edward IV was king of England from 1461 to 1470 and again from 1471 until 1483. His reign included the Yorkist victories and reversals of the Wars of the Roses.

House of York: A branch of the English royal family descended from Edward III through his son Edmund of Langley. Edward's membership in this dynasty supplied his claim to the English crown.
