Eisaku Satō

Eisaku Satō was a Japanese politician who served as prime minister from 1964 to 1972. He shared the 1974 Nobel Peace Prize for promoting nuclear non-proliferation.

Three Non-Nuclear Principles: Japan’s policy of not possessing, producing, or permitting the introduction of nuclear weapons. Satō announced these principles in 1967, linking his security policy to his Nobel recognition.
