Eliud Kipchoge

Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan long-distance runner, Olympic marathon champion, and former marathon world-record holder, renowned for sustained dominance at the distance.

2019 INEOS 1:59 Challenge: A Vienna exhibition run in which Kipchoge completed the marathon distance in 1:59:40.2 under specially arranged conditions. Kipchoge became the first person to cover 42.195 kilometers in under two hours, though the run was not record-eligible.
