Ellen MacArthur
Ellen MacArthur is a British sailor who set the solo, non-stop circumnavigation world record in 2005 and later founded the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
Vendée Globe: A solo, non-stop, unassisted yacht race around the world, held every four years. MacArthur finished second in the 2000–01 edition, establishing her as a leading solo ocean racer.
