Emily Brontë
Emily Brontë (1818–1848) was an English novelist and poet whose only novel, Wuthering Heights, became a landmark of Victorian literature.
Wuthering Heights: Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel follows the destructive relationships linking the Earnshaw and Linton families. Her only novel, published under the name Ellis Bell, made her enduringly famous.
Charlotte Brontë: Charlotte Brontë was an English novelist and poet, author of Jane Eyre and Emily’s elder sister. She defended Emily’s work and wrote its biographical preface after Emily’s death.
