Erik Axel Karlfeldt

Erik Axel Karlfeldt (1864–1931) was a Swedish poet whose verse drew on rural Dalecarlia, folk traditions, and richly wrought language. He was awarded the 1931 Nobel Prize in Literature posthumously.
