Ethnobiology

Ethnobiology studies how people in different cultures understand, use, classify, and relate to living things and ecosystems.

Ethnobotany: The study of relationships between people and plants, including their classification, uses, and cultural meanings. It examines the plant-focused knowledge and practices within ethnobiology.
Ethnographic fieldwork: Research based on sustained observation and participation in the everyday life of a community. It helps researchers understand biological knowledge in its social and practical settings.
