Euphyllophyte

A vascular plant belonging to the lineage that includes ferns, horsetails, and seed plants. Euphyllophytes are distinguished from lycophytes by their evolutionary history and characteristic leaf development.

Vascular plant: A plant with specialized tissues that transport water, minerals, and sugars through the body. Euphyllophytes are one of the two major living lineages of vascular plants.
