Eurofighter Typhoon

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine, canard-delta-wing combat aircraft developed by Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. It serves in air-superiority and multirole roles.

Relaxed static stability: An aircraft design condition in which aerodynamic forces alone do not strongly restore the aircraft to level flight. The Typhoon’s unstable aerodynamic layout improves maneuverability and depends on electronic flight control.
Future European Fighter Aircraft: A 1980s multinational project that sought to develop a new European air-superiority fighter. This project established the cooperation that led to the Typhoon, before disagreements disrupted it.
