Film acting is performance designed for capture by a camera, using expression, voice, gesture, and movement within a framed image. Its scale and continuity are shaped by framing, editing, and repeated takes.

Shot size: The amount of a subject visible within a camera frame, from close-up to long shot. Shot size determines how much facial expression or bodily movement a performance can convey.
