Knowra Five-Percent Nation Five-Percent Nation The Five-Percent Nation is a Harlem-based religious and cultural movement founded in 1964 by Clarence 13X. Its members call themselves the Nation of Gods and Earths and teach that Black men are gods and Black women are earths.
Clarence 13X : Clarence 13X, later known as Allah the Father, founded the Five-Percent Nation in Harlem in 1964. His break with the Nation of Islam created the movement and its founding authority.
