Ford Madox Ford

Ford Madox Ford (1873–1939) was an English novelist, poet, critic, and editor, best known for The Good Soldier and the Parade’s End tetralogy.

The Good Soldier: Ford Madox Ford’s 1915 novel portrays two couples through an unreliable narrator’s fragmented recollections. Its broken chronology and self-deceiving narrator exemplify Ford’s most celebrated narrative experiment.
Francis Hueffer: A German-born English music critic and writer who was Ford Madox Ford’s father. His father’s literary and musical milieu connected Ford to arts and letters from childhood.
