Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang is a line of sporty cars introduced by Ford in 1964. Its long hood, short rear deck, and performance variants helped define the pony-car category.

Lee Iacocca: Lee Iacocca was an American automobile executive who led Ford’s Mustang program and later became president of Ford. He championed a sporty, affordable car aimed at younger buyers.
Longitudinal engine: A longitudinal engine is mounted with its crankshaft aligned from the front toward the rear of a vehicle. This layout supports the Mustang’s traditional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive configuration.
